Gopeng 2011 - Geruntum 30/5-01/6/11 [Part 1]

♥ A mission trip down to Gopeng, somewhere near Perak. We were going for a very special mission. Like missionaries, carrying our backpacks and head to our destination. But you know, on mission with this bunch of youths is none other than FUN. We started our journey around 10AM in the morning and arrived there around 1 or 2PM. 

♥ We stop at Gunung Semanggol for a short coffee break. Felt so energized after a can of Nescafe. Bought junks for the stay at our destination too. I'm not revealing where we're staying, let's have a little guessing game for the mean time :DD

♥ Arrived at Gopeng. Old school huh?

♥ Our destination? Nahh, not yet. We gathered here only for some welcoming message and light briefing

♥ We went back to the church and then prepared to head to our destination

♥ Malaysia's version of the Great Wall. Great Wall of Malaysia perhaps?

♥ AND NOW, THIS IS OUR DESTINATION. WE ARRIVED AT ... KAMPUNG POH!

♥ Yes, our destination. Will be staying in a kampung house *points above* for 2 days.

♥ Ohh, if I didn't mention, it was a orang asli's kampung. And their way of cooking was pretty much traditional. Well, first time though and thanks to the 'kakaks' who cooked us an awesome meal :D

♥ Yes, some sort like that! And the coal somewhat makes the food tastier :D

♥ Fire and wood, traditional huh?

♥ And, seeing chickens in real! 

♥ First time seeing chicken running around, not like those in movies, that are caged up. 

♥ Guess where we're heading to?

♥ HAHA! Play water in the river! Very fascinating I can say. And the water is shiveringggggg cold!

♥ Yeah!

♥ All wet, but fun!
